Each week, a prompt for TTT inspires bloggers to create lists based on that week’s topic.
This Tuesday’s topic asks bloggers to produce lists of our fall TBR lists!
My number one priority this fall is to read MYSTERIES! I’m talking cozies, of course, in addition to some Agatha Christie – finally – I’m planning to toss in Sherlock Holmes, among others. I have been lucky enough to be chosen as a member of The Mystery Crew! I am so excited to work with my current co-bloggers, Cass and Jackie!
Another series I’m excited about diving into is the Knit and Nibble mysteries by Peggy Ehrhart. I ended up requesting, and receiving, the fourth book in the series, so I’m starting at number one, Murder She Knit!
I am in the process of reading Alison Weir’s, The Six Wives of Henry VIII. I adore historical nonfiction and this is an amazingly informative and interesting work thus far. It’s pretty heavy reading, but with the subject matter, I will enjoy it regardless. I was making decent progress through the book, when the library sucked it back into its stacks – so, I’m waiting for it to become available to borrow again.
Dan Brown’s Origin is another library book I want to finish up soon. I’m about 60% through the story, which is really good, but slower reading for me. I adore Brown’s Robert Langdon series and this, the fifth Langdon book is proving to be an amazing read.
The Red Tent by Anita Diamant is a tale I’ve been interested in reading for a long time. I’m looking forward to it moving from my ‘holds’ list onto my ‘loans’ from the library list soon. I feel that The Red Tent will have been worth the wait.
I’ve been dying to start Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard. I adored the TV series based on the books and just have to read them. I hope I enjoy the first installment enough to continue with the book series, but I really can’t imagine not loving it!
I am a lover of The Bachelor franchise and really lament not tuning in until about half the seasons were past. But, I am now a proud fan! I’m super excited to read Bachelor Nation: Inside the World of America’s Favorite Guilty Pleasure by Amy Kaufman, a real member of Bachelor Nation, who has been banned from Bachelor events due to her book’s candor.
Until Friday Night by Abbi Glines is another book that was sucked of my library loans shelf, as its rental expired before I could finish it. I was really enjoying the story and then BAM, I’m waiting for it again. My Goodreads reflects that I’ve only finished 11% of the book, but I really think I was further along than that! LOL!
Baby-sitters on Board by Ann M. Martin is the first Super Special of the iconic series and I’m so excited to read it again! I’ve been on a major BSC kick over the past year or so; I’m in love with the Graphix editions of the original series!
Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis is another book I’m looking forward to. Honestly, I’m a bit iffy on reading Hollis’ first book, as it’s not classified in a genre I normally read. However, I’m hoping my branching out into another section of the library will be a good thing!
For a bit more light reading, I’m planning to blow through The Vile Village, Lemony Snicket’s seventh installment in his Series of Unfortunate Events. I love this series and figure this book will add some lightness to my reading!
The Wispy Reader 
And then there were none has been lying on my TBR for ages now. I really hope that I get to read it soon but there are others of Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple on there too and i just like them a little bit more…

For a second there, I thought there was a brand new Babysitters Club book out there. I hope you enjoy that book. I don’t think it’s something I’ve ever read. 🙂

LOL! I wish there was a brand new BSC book! But, they are making them into graphic novels! The first 6 or 7 are out now; ‘Boy-Crazy Stacey’ is the most recent one – the graphic novels are done by Graphix and the amazing Raina Telgemeier did the first few! Alison Weir and Elizabeth Chadwick are two of my absolute favorite historical fiction authors to read. Chadwick wrote the Eleanor of Aquitaine series that I absolutely adored. I’m very excited for Weir’s next book in the Six Wives series!

LOL! I can’t wait to get started on the PLL books and I’ve got a BSC book I need to read before it gets sucked back into the library stacks in two days! LOL! If you’ve read a bunch of the PLL books, it’s a great sign that they’re good! I adored the show and still miss it! I can’t decide if I like the spinoff with Alison and Mona as much, but, the jury’s still out!

I liked the books better than the show at first but then felt like the books were just tooooooo long of a series (I never finished the show either thought) 😂😂

Looks like you have a variety of books there! I read Origin and it was good, but I didn’t think it was as good as The Lost Symbol. I hope you like all of these!

Thanks Brooke! I hope I like them all too! LOL! Yeah, I’ve had to take a bit of a break on Origin, even though I’m past the halfway point. The concept is really interesting, but I’m ready to find out the big secret and am getting tired of the chasing around! LOL! The Lost Symbol is a great book; I also loved Angels and Demons and The Da Vinci Code; I just love Dan Brown, even though his books can be tedious in parts. Happy reading and thanks for visiting!

Everybody I know seems to be raving about the Hollis books. I bought both of them but haven’t read them yet. They look like fast reads — we’ll see if they’re as life-changing as everyone says!
